Shipment went out within 24hrs. Each product was packaged in metal boxes and securely shipped in a box. There was some syrup leak but it was manageable. Unfortunately Fedex messed up delivery and I received the product a day later than scheduled, on the 4th day. The product was okay. Clearly it was no longer fresh or wasn’t fresh to begin with. There was no crunch in the pistachio and walnut baklavas and phyllo was all soft. It was a bit too sweet for my taste but that is a personal choice I suppose. The pistachio rolls and pistachio cubes tasted much better as crunchiness isn’t an issue for those 2 and they were less sweet, which I liked. Would I order again? At this price point, probably not unless I absolutely have to. I’d like to try them with domestic shipping though to see if the product experience is better.

Thank you for making authentic baklava available in Europe. The ordering process was smooth, and delivery time was reasonable.
That said, I’d like to share some feedback. I have previously had baklava at Koçak in Gaziantep and have also ordered within Türkiye, and on this occasion the product was noticeably less fresh. While some difference is understandable due to air shipping, I noticed the package was dispatched from Istanbul. This suggests the products may be stored there before shipment, which likely affects freshness.
I would strongly encourage reviewing the supply chain to improve this. If freshness were closer to the original standard, I would order regularly every 2–3 months, and additional for gifts. In current situation, I would likely order only occasionally.
Additionally, I hesitated to order items like şöbiyet under these conditions, given the inclusion of kaymak and the associated freshness sensitivity. If you can decrease the lead time of the products to arrive at the customers, I strongly believe that you can increase your revenue in Europe.

We would like to clarify an important point regarding freshness and logistics. All of our baklava is freshly prepared in Gaziantep and dispatched from there on the same day. There is absolutely no storage or waiting period in Istanbul. Since there are no direct international cargo flights from Gaziantep, shipments are routed via Istanbul only as a transit point.
For your reference, please see the shipment timeline below, which confirms the process:
The package was picked up in Gaziantep
It was transferred to Istanbul as part of the transit route
Then forwarded to France (CDG) and Switzerland without delay
Finally delivered in Geneva
This shows that the shipment is continuously in transit and never held or stored at any location.
