Preserving the Authentic Taste of Koçak Baklava
To preserve the distinctive taste, texture, and freshness of Koçak Baklava at its best, we recommend storing our products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally at a room temperature of 18–20°C (64–68°F).
Syrup varieties can be refrigerated for 10–15 days when cool room-temperature storage isn't possible, especially in summer. Dry Baklava and Special Dry shouldn't be refrigerated.
If refrigerated, we recommend gently warming the baklava before serving. This helps restore its signature crisp texture, rich aroma, and authentic flavor.

Every baklava order leaves our kitchen in Gaziantep on the day it's made and travels in a protective tin, cushioned with protective paper. Most US orders arrive 2–5 business days after dispatch, and you'll receive a FedEx tracking number by email as soon as it ships. Syrup baklava, Şöbiyet and Burma Kadayıf are at their best within 5 days of baking, transit included. Dry Baklava and Special Dry keep 10–15 days. Syrup varieties keep 10–15 days in the fridge, counted from the day you refrigerate them. Once opened, enjoy within 2–3 days.
Keep the box closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally at 64–68°F (18–20°C). To keep syrup varieties longer, refrigerate them in an airtight container; please don't refrigerate Dry Baklava or Special Dry. Before serving, let refrigerated baklava sit at room temperature for 30–60 minutes, or warm it for a few minutes in the oven at 300°F (150°C). Please don't microwave it.
